Perfect for School Snacks and Lunches – Drink in the Box + GIVEAWAY!

review disclosure

Pictures and videos of the contents of disgusting juice boxes get shared around social media pretty often. I don’t know if they’re real or not, but they make sense to me. People taste or pour out a juice box that is still within the fresh date, and find mold or other nastiness at the bottom. This has always freaked me out about juice boxes because you can’t see through most of them, I have no idea what is in there. Are they probably good? Sure, but I’m always the exception, that less than 1% who gets eaten by a shark and I’d really rather not be the family who ends up drinking the moldy juice box.

When I first heard about Drink in the Box, I was so thrilled with the idea. Where have you been all of my parenting life?! Drink in the Box is a reusable container that holds your child’s drinks for snacks and lunches, especially great for bringing to school. Drink in the Box is see-through so forget wondering what lurks inside your beverage!

My daughter was ecstatic to get her pink Drink in the Box and immediately wanted to fill it with everything. I told her that my favorite part is that I can send her to school with fruit-infused water. You can open up the box to fill it, and then put some lemonade complete with lemons or water with sliced strawberries and kiwis, whatever you want!

Drink ideas I plan to send to school in her Drink in the Box this year:

  • Water plus:
    -Pineapple & mango
    -Strawberries & blueberries
    -Blackberries & raspberries
  • Fresh lemonade with a slice of lemon, raspberries, strawberries, and/or watermelon
  • Homemade iced tea with mint and lime
  • Freshly squeezed orangeade
  • Kiwi strawberry banana smoothie
  • Homemade fruit punch
  • Chocolate milk
  • And so many more possibilities!

This new little kindergartner was also extremely happy when she realized it was spill-proof. She called to me, “Look Mommy, it doesn’t spill either!” and she held it upside-down. This is perfect because it can get thrown into the lunchbox, tossed around on the bus, and no spills! Drink in the Box is also BPA and phthalate free. It has a lockable latch, pinch guard, and seal and spout made of silicone. You can currently get a Drink in the Box in four colors – orange, pink, green, and blue.

We, as parents, love that we can control the amount of sugar in her drinks we send with her and still have the convenience of sending it in her lunch box instead of having to purchase something in school. No more squirting, leaking juice box messes and still keeping it fun and fresh! We love our Drink in the Box and plan to get one for all of our children!
