Texas Timber Baby Bats Steps Up to the Plate + GIVEAWAY! Ends 2/20

review disclosure

One of the first things that my husband and I did when we found out we were having a boy was discuss nursery themes. We incorporated sports and wild animals together for extra fun. I bought wooden letters for his name and painted them to look like sports gear, like hockey sticks and a basketball.

When I heard about Texas Timber Bats and what they do, I knew that his bedroom NEEDED this keepsake.

Texas Timber Bats brings us Baby Bats, a unique gift to save for your child. The Texas Timber Baby Bats are made to the size that your little one was at birth and engraved with their stats. Holding our bat up to my little man, I couldn’t believe that he was ever so small. When he’s a teenager and it’s the size of his forearm (okay, I’m exaggerating!), I’ll probably cry. What an awesome way to reminisce though, it’s unlike anything else I’ve had for my kids before.

With just a few clicks, I was easily able to choose the wood type for my bat, input the stats for engraving, and get it all ordered! You customize the Texas Timber bat with the child’s name, birth date, time of birth, and length. The Baby Bats are made from Northern White Ash from the Catskill Mountains and you can choose from wood colors like pecan and cherry, or check out the color series and go for your favorite team’s colors!

I chose the natural color bat in maple wood and also ordered the bat holder so that we could display it in the little guy’s bedroom. My husband and I think that we’ll eventually either mount his bat on the wall or display it on a shelf of sports memorabilia, hopefully with some trophies when he’s old enough to play baseball!

Our Texas Timber Baby Bat came out perfectly with a really nice engraving. The craftsmanship is just beautiful! The wood is beautiful and sturdy, I think it will definitely hold up forever. I imagine my son eventually having a son of his own and getting a bat to match, with each bat being passed through generations. It’s just such an amazing way to commemorate the birth of a baby. Not only do I recommend it for your family but also to purchase as a gift for new babies and special occasions! Purchase a gift certificate for a baby shower or you could put together a really cool baseball basket for a new baby with the Baby Bat as your centerpiece! It’s such an original gift that I think would truly stand out and be appreciated! It’s also a must-have for every sports-themed nursery or bedroom!

  1. What an awesome keepsake! My future sports star needs this, and it might become my go-to gift for friends’ babies!

  2. I’m so excited about this! Baseball is one of the few sports my husband and I both like, and that my son will physically be allowed to play since he’s missing a kidney. I didn’t even know about this company! Such a cool keepsake!

  3. That is so cute how they can hold it next to them and easily see how much they’ve grown!! My sister-in-law and her husband would love this because he loves baseball. They have a little boy six months older than my little girl, I’ll have to tell them about it!

  4. I would love to win this for my son – he is only 3 months old at the moment but his older brothers and I are HUGE baseball fans. This would be an awesome addition to his room.

  5. My daughter is only 2, but she loves sports. Her favorite toy is actually a softball set. We are taking her to her first game in a few months. I’d love to have a bat made for her, & it would be a great gift for an expecting friend who is a huge Reds fan!

  6. These are adorable! I wish I had my baby already, because I’d love it for it. 🙂 But I also have a friend who just had a baby who would love one of these!
