I’m Flipping for This Lenovo Yoga Book Tablet

When you’re a blogger, you have to have to tools to be able to work on-the-go. We’ve got deadlines to meet and there are edits that a company may request while you’re not near your laptop. You need to be ready! Work is the main reason that I was extremely excited to try the Lenovo Yoga Book!

Lenovo

Let me start by saying that I’m actually an avid fan of Lenovo. I’ve had a boat load of laptops and with kids, normal wear, and my clumsiness, most laptops last me about two years maximum. My primary laptop is a Lenovo and it’s taken a real beating without even batting a figurative eyelash. The kids have knocked this thing onto the floor. I’ve accidentally kicked over the table I keep it on, sending it crashing down. About a month ago, I spilled a red energy juice all over the keyboard and we all thought we had to bid it farewell. It wasn’t coming back from that. WRONG! The keys aren’t even sticking. Is this some kind of witchcraft, Lenovo?! Finally, I’ve found a brand that can handle the fast-paced, rugged life I lead!

The Lenovo Yoga Book hasn’t let me down, either! Now, I’m much more careful not to drop this little fella so I can’t attest to its hardware in the same fashion, but I can say that I’m really thrilled with it! We’ve had all of the tablets, cheap and expensive alike, and none are like this one! It’s essentially mini-laptop! The Lenovo Yoga Book is available with Windows or Android operating systems and I received the Windows, which I adore. I’m familiar with Android and I find them to be simpler than other options on the market, but I’ve been using Windows since I was little so I’m partial to it. I feel like having the Windows available to me is what makes it as easy as working on my home laptop.

Another thing that appealed to me about the Lenovo Yoga Book is the sketching feature! You can use an actual pen that is also a stylus, to create a physical drawing or notes, as well as one onto the tablet. I’ve wanted something like this for a long time because I really enjoy drawing but I never got the hang of using a mouse to do it. I really enjoy the zen of doodling and I love being able to share my doodles directly to social media from my Yoga Book!

This tablet is extremely thin and portable. The keyboard is flat and barely noticeable if not in use but when you type, it illuminates. It has a 360º hinge so it can be folded into a tablet mode, placed flat for perfect drawing or note-taking, angled for entertainment viewing mode, or opened up like a laptop. It has all of the features and capabilities that need in order to get my work done or play around, but it’s also the most convenient device I’ve ever used. It’s WiFi and Bluetooth capable, you can use the touch screen or attach a mouse to USB type C ports.

The picture quality is crisp, lovely, and colorful. I’m having no trouble surfing the web at typical speeds and creating projects that I transfer over to my PC. It’s exactly what I have been looking for for the last several years!

I can honestly say that the Lenovo Yoga Book is my favorite “tablet” for working away from home. I use quotes because I think it’s so much better than just a tablet. I plan to use it to replace my previous e-readers and the tablets I bought before are now sitting in a drawer collecting dust. I highly recommend the Yoga Book for moms, dads, teens, the busy, the bored, and everyone else!
