May Your Glass Be Half Full and Covered in Memories with Fracture + $100 GC GIVEAWAY! Ends 10/16

I may have mentioned that we were planning to remodel our bathroom this summer and we did! It turned out beautifully! I haven’t shared the before and after photos because it does still need to be painted, with a couple of additions here and there. It needs more pizzazz, like pretty soap dispensers and a nice toothbrush holder. One of those necessary additions was art for the walls. The question was what kind of art to go with and the answer was that we wanted something personal to us. When we found Fracture, I realized exactly what we’d been looking for!

Fracture photos are printed directly onto glass. The frame, mount, and picture are all combined into one easy-to-hang print. A Fracture doesn’t come with some unsightly frame border, it allows for the beauty of the picture to be all you’re seeing and I love that. No need to try and figure out which frames go with your decor, change a frame that no longer matches, and so on. Your photos are printed with full color UV ink directly onto the glass and because they are light, it’s simple to hang them using only the large screw included in your package.

fracture4The screw has deep grooves so it affixes the picture to the wall very well!

For our Fracture, we sifted through pictures from our vacation but I knew exactly what I wanted to go with as decor for the bathroom. Our bathroom has a beach theme to it and I wanted to put up something that I took myself. Immediately, my mind went to the picture of the beach seen from the Mayan ruins of Tulum. Like most of the pictures from our vacation, I took it with my phone so I was unsure of the quality in order to have it printed by Fracture. I am extremely happy to tell you that our “classic” Fracture came out wonderfully! The quality is good and the colors are as vivid as the day we were there in that vacation from our dreams.

Another reason that I was happy to use a Fracture in the bathroom is because sometimes bathrooms don’t get great ventilation. Our remodeled bathroom does include a new fan to help with that but just in case, I didn’t want to have a paper photo that might shrivel up from moisture. A picture printed directly onto glass solves that problem for me!

We also received a small Fracture, which I think would be perfect for lining the walls with a bunch of them throughout the years. I’m picturing a grid-like display in a rectangle or maybe even placed to form a circle on your wall, with a larger Fracture displayed in the middle. There are so many different decorating ideas that you can use them for and I feel like not having a border makes them so much more versatile!
