My hydration level has always been poor. Doctor after doctor scolds me for drinking the bare minimum of water throughout my day. I’m so particular about my water that I feel like it’s tough to maintain a good habit. I want cold, delicious, filtered water without the hassle of having to dispose of a water bottle. The ZeroWater 30 Cup Ready-Pour holds 23 cups of filtered water while seven more cups are stored and waiting to be filtered. When you dispense the filtered water, the unfiltered water goes through a 5-stage Ion Exchange filter. It also includes a laboratory-grade water testing meter. To use simpler terms, it’s a big filter with a lot of (five!) sophisticated technologies that are cleaning all of the junk out of your water, making it healthier and yummier to drink.
The first layer of filtration, activated carbon and oxidation reduction alloy removes the chlorine taste that is often present in tap water. The Ion Exchange removes all of the dissolved solids that can be left over from your public water system or from piping, like aluminum and lead. Once the laboratory-grade Total Dissolved Solids meter reads “000” reading on your laboratory-grade Total Dissolved Solids meter, you’re ready to consume! The “000” means that the ZeroWater left no dissolved solids in your water and I’m fairly sure that’s where the name comes from!
Now that I’ve got the most important part out of the way, let me tell you that the filter is also really easy to use. It holds a lot so you can just fill it up and tuck it into the refrigerator. It does take a bit of time to fill up because it’s filtering before the water goes into the tank itself. There’s no need to take it out of the fridge to pour your drinks, it’s got an easily accessible flap. You can also use only one hand to push the dispense spout, filling your cup and enjoy your refreshing beverage!
I placed the ZeroWater 30 Cup Ready-Pour on our holiday gift guide last month because healthy hydration in itself is a gift. It’s remarkable how many health problems could be avoided with better hydration, like my frequent headaches. Anyone focusing on fitness and/or weight control as their new year’s resolution will want to take better care with drinking water also.
