Within the last few years, I’ve grown obsessed with adventure. Hiking is my favorite pastime and I’ve been desperate to embark on a camping trip. That means I need to settle in with the right kind of gear first! The first place I searched was Eartheasy. The little silicone grip handles on the side make it really simple to bring around with you on camping trips. It’s incredibly easy to use and I like how safe it feels with the combustion chamber. It confines the fire which makes me feel a lot more secure. My husband made a good point that it’s a safer option for the little ones roasting marshmallows too.

There are a few different ways to utilize the EcoZoom Dura Rocket Stove, like in conjunction with a Dutch oven or to fry up some eggs for breakfast, but we used it for grilling up dinner and boiling some sides. We wrapped some potatoes, cheese, and ham in foil and put them on top of a grated campfire cover. We filled it with sticks from the backyard which was a great opportunity for the kids to feel like they’re helping by sending them to gather sticks! The fire lit quickly and it was quite powerful. We roasted them for maybe twenty minutes and then enjoyed some soft, gooey potatoes.

I think that the EcoZoom Dura Rocket Stove is essential to any camping trip if you’re looking for a hot meal. It’s a simple tool to carry along, it’s a breeze to light, and it’s pretty mutli-faceted. It’s compatible with round pots, flat pots, pans, tea kettles, Dutch ovens, or use skewers and a wire grill. I love the fact that it’s small, making it ideal for date nights in the wilderness or even just in the backyard.
