Every time I think I’ve found the softest product ever, a new one comes along. Bamboosa currently gets my seal of approval for softest baby clothing and swaddle blanket I’ve ever touched. The fact that their items are made with organic bamboo and cotton, as well as in the USA, had me quite interested. I opened up the package and as soon as my fingers touched the material, I was in Heaven! How can clothes be so soft?! I kept rubbing them to my face and of course, the kids came running when I exclaimed about it. My four year old was all over the swaddle blanket, I hope she’ll give it up for the new baby!
Bamboosa sent us the long sleeve cuddlesac and the baby swaddle blanket in sprout green for our little “team green” cutie. The long sleeve cuddlesac is intended for ages 3-9 months and the way I would describe it is that it is like a long 21″ gown with an elastic bottom, intended to keep Baby cozy and make diaper changes easier. The Bamboosa Long Sleeve Cuddlesac has the fold-over cuffs for the hands that keep them warm and stop them from scratching themselves. You can also use the shoulder flaps to take it off down over the bottom instead of the head, which makes it perfect for an oopsie blowout diaper!
My favorite feature, though, is the super-soft material which is made of 67% Viscose from Organic Bamboo/28% Organic Cotton and 5% Lycra. Normally I put the gowns over top of a little onesie but the material is just so nice that you’d be wasting it! Haha! Also, you wouldn’t really need to layer it because the ultra-soft fabric regulates the temperature naturally and wicks moisture away from the skin! That’s pretty cool and also not surprising. I’m convinced that all clothing I wear should be made out of this, too. (They do make some clothing for adults, by the way!)
Keep in mind that despite how smooth and breathable the Bamboosa Long Sleeve Cuddlesac is, it’s not intended to be used as sleepwear because it isn’t treated with flame retardants as part of the natural appeal. All products are made in the USA!
The Bamboosa Swaddle Blanket is the absolute perfect size for swaddling. It’s pretty large, at 42″ x 42″ and made from a similar smooth fabric as the Cuddlesac, using 70% Viscose from Organic Bamboo and 30% Organic Cotton. This comfy and big but lightweight blanket has an array of great uses. Take it on-the-go as a travel blanket, cover the stroller, or use it as a nursing cover. The fabric is just as smooth, breathable, and thermal regulating as the Cuddlesac and Baby can sleep comfortably swaddled in it!
It seems to me like organic bamboo and cotton are the way to go in making the best baby gear on the planet, Bamboosa seems to have that covered so far. I am being completely genuine when I say that this is the softest of its kind, at least that I’ve ever tried with any of my four children. I would buy and recommend this again and again. Also, with Bamboosa’s subtle yet adorable eco-friendly packaging, I think it would make the perfect baby shower gift for someone.
