Did you know that Sesame Street has been on air for almost 48 years? Just about anyone reading this probably watched the show as a child and can tell you exactly who Elmo and Big Bird are, maybe even do a half-decent impression of their voices. Grover was always my favorite, I think because I loved his voice so much.

Sesame Street is so wholesome and educational that I jump at the chance to share it with my children. They can learn about their letters and numbers but also life lessons and adorable songs. Television isn’t the only place you can catch these friendly characters, though! Sesame Street LIVE! is coming to town and the whole gang is joining them!

Join Elmo, Grover, Abby Cadabby, and other Sesame Street friends as they learn about friendship and cultural similarities while welcoming Chamki, Grover’s friend from India! Our local feature of Sesame Street LIVE!: Make a New Friend takes place at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Children will have a ball watching their Sesame Street friends singing, dancing, and showing just how to be a great friend!

  1. I have always loved Sesame Street and wanted to go to the live shows when I was a child. Hoping they come to Raleigh, so I can fulfill my wish and take my granddaughter.

  2. My mom took my sister and me when we were really little. Im sure its changed since then, but i have some excellent memories from then.

  3. The whole experience looks amazing. I’ve always loved how educational Sesame Street is, and how well they cover new topics that really speak to children in a way that they can understand, such as the whole cultural thing, while as adults we do talk to our children (hopefully), but in all reality they listen more to a TV show they do to us.

  4. This is great! I hope they come near me, at some point… my little cousins would love to go see this.

  5. We do not live in the area and my children are both in college but I know they loved Sesame Street when they were little. I’m sure this is an outing the whole family would enjoy if there are any small children and probably even if there aren’t small children.
