I was a young child while I had my first ice cream maker. I remember accidentally mixing the salt meant to go with the ice into the actual ice cream. It was such a complicated process! A few years ago, I insisted on buying another ice cream machine. Since the one time I made ice cream with that one, it’s just taken up tons of cabinet space because who has time or energy for that dawn-out factory process? Ice cream is one of my favorite things in the whole world and I loved the idea of being able to customize it. That’s why I was ecstatic when I found out that The Curious Creamery took this ice cream process and made it a million times easier!
The Curious Creamery ice cream mixes require just a couple of ingredients and a few steps to creating your own ice cream dream! Using merely The Curious Creamery mix and milk (coconut, almond, or even water for healthier options), plus any mix-ins you choose, you can make your own tasty ice cream! I made the strawberry ice cream and mixed in bananas and chocolate chips for my own treat after a long day with the kiddos. It was as easy as whisking the two ingredients together, adding mix-ins, and freezing it. With the kids always requesting to help me make food, this is an absolutely perfect thing for them to help with.
The fun and deliciousness from The Curious Creamery doesn’t end with customized ice cream! I never imagined that a homemade ice cream cake would actually be doable and certainly not as tasty as we managed! With our The Curious Creamery Birthday Cake ice cream cake mix, we had our own little party at home! Milk, whipping cream, sugar, and the mix, just whisked together and frozen make a delectable layer of ice cream. You tuck that ice cream layer between two layers of ice cream cake and voila, a fabulous ice cream cake treat!
I love that The Curious Creamery enables me to treat the kids to a fun night in the kitchen and a special treat without taking tons of work. I’m also really thrilled with the opportunity to personalize parties with it! How wonderful to be able to whip up (pun intended!) our own ice cream, ice cream cakes, or even The Boozy Creamery, which makes ice cream cocktails for your adult guests. We are absolutely 100% going to be stocking up on mixes from The Curious Creamery, especially considering that it’s cheaper than my favorite popular ice cream pints and we customize these ourselves!
