I mentioned in our Christmas tradition post that we use books as a sort of advent during the Christmas season. It’s one of our favorites! We have books that we surprise the kids with every day of December and each year, we add new books. This year, we added new ones courtesy of Clever Publishing!
Busy Christmas is a colorful book for preschoolers with a little wheel that they can turn to find the next part of the story! Honestly, even just the wheel alone could keep them entertained for a while but the book is very interactive, directing them with what to turn the wheel to next.
Max the Rabbit Builds a Snowman is an adorable book that’s unique! Throughout the story, your child will collect pieces to a puzzle that they can actually put together. We’ve never seen this kind of book and we all found it so cute. I think this might be my youngest’s favorite!
Arthur’s Holiday Adventure is a board book shaped like a reindeer with beautiful illustrations and a fun little adventure. Perfect also as a stocking stuffer for the little ones!
Olivia’s Holiday Adventure is similar to Arthur, except this board board is shaped like an adorable polar bear! I love the thick pages so the little ones don’t rip a page. We’re gifting one to my niece this year too!
Holiday Celebration Sticker Book is a book of ONLY stickers. One THOUSAND holiday stickers live in this one, perfect for making personal cards or sealing envelopes. My daughter is also using some of them for her journal and scrapbooking. Definitely a fun one for all ages and many purposes!
Merry Mazes for the Holidays is the first book the kids noticed because they all adore mazes. This book is full of many holiday-themed mazes with a varying level of difficulty. This one has been passed among each of the kids and they all enjoy it!
Happy Holidays, Pirates is a lift-the-flap book with thick pages and a bubble cover filled with detailed drawings and poems. My preschooler loves lifting the flaps to see what happens next. It’s not very often you find a pirate holiday book so we consider ourselves lucky to have this treasure in our collection!
Look & Find: The Holiday Season contains more than 800 holiday photos with questions that prompt kids to find different things within the pages. How many Santas are there with sacks in their arms? The intention may have been for this to be read with toddlers but all of my kids enjoyed it because they love seek and find books!
Warm & Busy Wintertime is an activity book that is perfect for those of you who are traveling this holiday season! 40 engaging activities like mazes, puzzles, and games will keep them from asking “Are we there yet?” every ten minutes!
Warm & Busy Holidays is the same type of activity book as the Wintertime but with a different theme so one of each would be helpful for each kid! Maybe they can work on them while you’re cooking the big meals for everyone!
