Five Senses of Fall Poem

The last day of the SITS Back to Blogging Challenge was writing about the five senses of Fall and I didn’t have a chance at the time but for today’s Time For Mom Link Up, I thought it would be a great time to share my little Fall poem.

fall autumn

“The air is crisp, the leaves have fallen
The smell is that of ragweed pollen
The colors yellow and orange and brown and red
And the wind is blowing them around my head
We’re picking pumpkins and taking hayrides
Our homemade Halloween costumes fill me with pride
This warm apple pie is just so yummy
And it’s following that turkey to fill my tummy
Being thankful for all I’ve been given
My beautiful family, this life I’m living
A gorgeous time for many reasons
Autumn, it truly is my favorite season.”
