When I began to picture what I would wear for my vow renewal, I saw myself with a short, white dress and a flower crown before I planned any of the other details. They were the most important pieces of my ensemble. I bought five dresses in my search for a beautiful dress that would work for the occasion. I was no less diligent in my hunt for a flower crown and when I came upon Faber Accessories on Etsy, I knew that that I would look no further.
I fell in love with every gorgeous accessory in the Faber Accessories shop. Pages of bright, stunning crowns and bouquets all hand-crafted by Anna, the wonderful shop owner. No matter what the colors and style, it seemed like she had something to coordinate with your particular wedding. There were options with brooches, pearls, roses, even a butterfly.
When I spoke to Anna and told her about my colors: a light pink, aqua, and beige/ivory, she went right to work with a custom flower crown for my special day. Before sending along the crown, she sent me a picture to make sure that I was happy with how it had come out. It was absolutely perfect and I let her know just that!
I didn’t think that it could be even more beautiful than it was in the picture but when it arrived, I jumped up and down, quite literally. I couldn’t wait to wear it, I knew that it would be so right for my special day!
Since I wanted the smell of roses as I walked down the aisle with my love, I purchased my bouquet from a florist. Because Faber Accessories got the colors so right, I brought my flower crown with me for the florist to coordinate the flowers to match!
How I wore my hair was basically planned all around my flower crown. I looked online for different ways to wear it with various hairstyles and settled on a half up-do with the crown clipped toward the back of my head. I don’t own Bobby pins so I just used contour clips that matched the flowers.
Even in pictures where I wasn’t holding my bouquet, I love that color pop in my hair!
I received so many compliments on how fabulously these colors came together and how pretty my crown was! What an essential piece to my special day and I’m so so glad that I chose Faber Accessories.
I would undoubtedly recommend any of their accessories to a soon-to-be bride but I also think that they would be wonderful on a special occasion for my daughters, like for their birthday or a fancy event. The shop owner is diligent, sweet, and aims to please. Her work is amazing and I’m happy to share it with you all.
