Perfect Sight at a Great Price with GlassesShop

quirky review disc

Glasses have been a necessity for me since the fourth grade and my family has always had to count on spending a fortune for each pair. Because of this, I was skeptical when I saw the incredibly low prices on GlassesShop. I’ll admit that my hopes weren’t high because I hadn’t previously heard of them and as they say, you often get what you pay for. I’m extremely happy to report that I am very pleased with my eyeglasses from GlassesShop!

I’ve got an astigmatism, as well as being near-sighted. My vision is pretty terrible and I wouldn’t be allowed to drive a car without some sort of eyewear but I’d be lucky if I could even find my car without them. Not only are they a necessity, but if I’m wearing glasses, I want them to be fashionable. GlassesShop actually has a lot of styles available for women, men, and children. I perused the site and actually came upon plenty of pairs I would be interested in. Making the overall decision is much easier with their “Try-on” feature which allows you to upload a photo of yourself to get an idea of how they will look on you. I finally settled on the pretty Florence Rectangle glasses in red.

Next, I trotted off to the optometrist because I was due for an appointment. While there, I mentioned GlassesShop and asked her what she thought about getting glasses online from a company I hadn’t heard of before. Her exact words were, “Definitely go for it!” She said that really, the only perk to purchasing in person was that she could adjust the glasses on my ears and that unless I thought I would need tons of adjustment, it wasn’t a very big deal. I was excited to have her sign off on the idea. With my fresh prescription in hand, I went home and ordered my Florence Rectangle spectacles.

The glasses arrived quickly and were even cuter than they were in the stock photos. I put them on and my vision was crystal clear! I’ve been wearing these glasses almost every day for the last two weeks with absolutely no problems and this includes the baby grabbing them multiple times. Just to clarify, I just ordered the standard everything but GlassesShop actually has a bunch of different options. You can get a plain clear lens or tinted, light-adjusting, transitioning, polarized, or mirrored lens colored. You also have three choices for the coating thickness for protection. Depending on the add-ons you go with, you may pay a little more but these prices are nothing like I’m looking at when I’m at my eye doctor.

Toggling the features, it looks like the cheapest pair of glasses that I like on GlassesShop would cost me $23 (with a coupon) to include shipping. My last pair of glasses cost us $200. If you’re wondering why I wouldn’t just use my insurance–everyone’s insurance is different but mine allows for $100 in glasses and you can get glasses or contacts, not both. GlassesShop’s low prices will enable me to get new glasses any time I feel like it. Insurance is restricting and $200 for glasses is ridiculous.

I can’t think of a reason not to buy from GlassesShop from here on out and I’ve already carted a couple more pairs to coordinate with different seasons and outfits. I love the quality, options, and most importantly, it’s affordable. I encourage you to try for yourself!

  1. Wow! I thought I shopped around when I needed new glasses a couple years ago. The cheapest I could find was $85 at Walmart. I’m definitely going to look at this site soon since my 2 kiddos love throwing my glasses off my head and one lense is scratched. I can’t wait to try the “Try-on” feature; that’s the thing that normally turns me off of ordering online!
