Once upon a time, I had the pleasure of selling real estate professionally.  It remains one of my passions to this very day, but at the height of my time in sales, I would head to the office every day and I’d put in a solid day’s work in front of the computer.  My desk was a mess.  I had files on all my active listings, my current sales, pens and markers all over the place, and to say space was at a premium would be a drastic understatement.  I always seemed to be making pockets to work my mouse, and that would mean an adjustment to the keyboard positioning among other things.  I wasn’t alone.  It seemed the vast majority of desks at the office were that way, and in every workplace I’ve been to since, I’ve noticed the same issue.  We need more space!  Now we can’t always make desks bigger, but thankfully, GAMDIAS has helped solve that problem with the Hermes M3 RGB Mechanical Keyboard.

Now when I first saw it, I was surprised at it’s size.  It’s smaller than typical keyboards.  Obviously it will help out the overcrowded professional’s desk, but it will also help out the at home gamer.   It measures in at 354 x 128 x 25 mm, and definitely helps keep the clutter to a minimum.  When GAMDIAS slimmed the keyboard down, they trimmed a few media keys, but it’s a an easy work around accessing those functions via the Fn key and the secondary F-key buttons.  The Hermes M3 RGB Mechanical Keyboard boasts 6 programmable gaming profiles, and has customizable lighting effects via the HERA enabled software.  So if you set it up before hand, you can switch back and forth between your games with ease.  You can adjust the keys to light up according to what you want to do in the game, like moving or using specific abilities.  That’s a very nice feature!

One of the things I love about the Hermes M3 RGB Mechanical Keyboard is the ‘GAME’ key.  It gives you the ability to disable certain keys like the Windows key, scroll lock, and Caps lock.  I’ve lost many a SMITE match due to various pop ups, and I’m all about reducing the opportunity for something like that to happen.

The Hermes M3 RGB Mechanical Keyboard keys themselves stand out.  A lot of keyboards out there allow dirt and debris to slip underneath the key.  That can prevent the key from pressing down enough to trigger the keystroke.  GAMDIAS decided to do something about that.  The keys on this keyboard stand out a little bit.  That makes clean up a breeze!  A quick blast of air and you can watch the dust blow away!  Another thing to mention is that the keys themselves have just enough resistance to avoid the accidental push, but register the trigger faster than it’s traditional counterparts.  They also have a 60 million keystroke life cycle, which is roughly 10 million more pushes than the competition.  That means it’ll last a little bit longer.

Last but not least, the Hermes M3 RGB Mechanical Keyboard has a very nice elegant design.  For the most part the keyboard has a black matte coat, and it features a dark, brushed aluminum rear plate.  It is trimmed in silver, which reflects the lighting beautifully.  All in all, I’m very happy with this one.  It allows me to customize and prepare for virtually any game I feel like playing, and it’s swift responses help me maximize my gaming experience.
