White Chocolate Raspberry Pancakes Recipe with Krusteaz Buttermilk Protein Pancake Mix

disclosure product

You know why breakfast is the best meal of the day? Not because it’s the most important meal or the most nutritious, no. Breakfast is my favorite because it’s kind of like dessert first thing in the morning. I love bacon and sausage, eggs are pretty cool…but I adore crepes, waffles, and pancakes! Pancakes are so simple to make and I’ve always got the mix on hand, which can totally be customized with any additional flavor you want. So here we are with some white chocolate raspberry pancakes featuring Krusteaz Buttermilk Protein Pancake Mix!

Krusteaz Buttermilk Protein Pancake Mix is packed with 15 grams of protein per serving, plus 4 grams of fiber, no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. They’re made with 100% whole grain flour which I wasn’t sure if the kids would appreciate but they LOVED it! The Krusteaz pancakes are thick and fluffy with a nice hearty flavor so everybody enjoys them. They’re easy to make if you just add water but you can also make them with milk or up the protein even more with eggs! I just use water since they taste great all on their own.

Like I said, it’s pretty simple to customize any pancake mix with little effort so I knew I could make just about anything with my Krusteaz mix. I thought about banana walnut or butter pecan pancakes but I settled on white chocolate raspberry pancakes because I was in the mood for something new and unique! They came out so good, I’m not even remotely exaggerating. I’m actually really disappointed that I made them while the kids were home because I had no choice but to share. HAHA!

Without further ado, here’s how you recreate these pretties in the simplest way possible!

Krusteaz White Chocolate Raspberry Pancakes

Ingredients

One cup of Krusteaz Buttermilk Protein Pancake Mix (makes 5-6 4-inch pancakes)
2/3 cup water
1/4 cup white chocolate chips (more or less, that’s up to your tastebuds!)
One 6 oz package of raspberries
Non-stick cooking spray

Directions

1. Pour approximately half of the raspberries into a box and mush with a fork. (You can use a blender but why dirty extra appliances? Forks work fine!)

2. Mix the pancake mix and water in a separate bowl. (If you use the milk or milk and egg combination, let us know how that goes with our recipe! I’ve only tried water and loved it!)

3. Pour the crushed raspberries into the mix and stir well.

4. Add the white chocolate chips and stir.

5. Generously coat your frying pan or griddle with non-stick cooking spray. (The raspberries WILL make it stick if you are not generous with your cooking spray!)

6. Cook on low to medium until the edges are formed and browning, then flip and cook until golden brown.

7. Plate and top with extra chocolate chips and raspberries, with or without syrup and butter.
