Spring is finally here and while we wait for the weather to fully catch up, why not put some events on the calendar?! We tried to find events all over South Jersey to keep you and the kids busy this season. 4th Annual Kyle Brown Forever a Superhero 5K and Family Fun Walk

5k run benefiting the Kyle Brown Foundation. Dressing like a Superhero is strongly encouraged!! T-shirts guaranteed to all participants that per-registered by April 20, 2019. Kids 10 and under walk for free with a donation to the CMC animal shelter (food, toys, money, etc.)

Sky Festival
The beach at Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center
Friday, May 25-Monday, May 27
Largest kite festival in North America held on the beach at Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Event begins on Friday at noon with the Unlocking of the Ocean media event outside of the Wildwoods Convention Center. Festivities following include opening of the kite sales tent, a Friday night social via the local kite club and the 9 p.m. illuminated kite fly. Saturday includes the silent and loud auctions (open to all) and Saturday & Sunday include the flying of large inflatable kites, sport kite demo’s, team flying as well as family games. Monday features the World Indoor Kite Competition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. FREE to spectators.

For some additional fun, let’s do a giveaway of a favorite South Jersey establishment of mine since I was a kid – the Garden State Discovery Museum! It’s a hands-on museum in Cherry Hill with a pretend market, construction site, pizza shop, and so much more.
