We’ve always wanted to be one of those families that travels and camps together. I went camping several times as a Girl Scout. My girls have gone with my husband for Girl Scouts or in the backyard for special occasions, but we’ve never all gone camping together. We have a couple of tents but nothing we loved and certainly nothing that was truly large enough to fit our large family of seven. Now that we have the Arizona Gran Turismo 11/12 person tent from NTK, camping is totally going to be our thing, FINALLY!
First of all, my husband was cracking up at how excited I was to put this tent together. The directions are pretty basic but so is the actual assembly of the tent. He helped me but I can confidently say that I could have done it without any guidance. The poles are easy to maneuver, they’re clearly marked, and everything went together quite smoothly. This was my first time ever putting together a tent and I thought it was awesome!
The NTK Arizona GT Tent 11/12 is massive, which I find completely necessary for our family. I’m pretty sure it’s bigger than an apartment I once lived in. Another thing I love about it is all of the mesh. The mesh is incredibly ventilating and if the weather is right, it makes for the perfect screened in way to just snuggle up and look at the stars. It certainly holds up well in crazy weather and I know this because the kids insisted on camping in the backyard on a night when it was pouring. They enjoyed listening to the rain but of course, remained completely dry.
Inside the tent, we were able to fit our two full-sized mattresses with plenty of room to spare. The NTK tent diagram shows two single mattresses and three doubles in the Arizona GT 11/12 and I could definitely see that working out because it’s so spacious in there! If needed, you can separate your tent into two rooms with the zip of a wall. I’m thinking that we will definitely utilize this to be able to keep somewhat separate from the kids while also being able to stay close to them at night.
Other features of the Arizona GT 11/12 include a weatherproof cover, a small zippered space for putting your electrical cords through, and pockets in various places on the tent for storage. I love the lamp hooks at the top of the tent’s center. There’s a little porch on the outside of the tent as well.
The bottom line is that the Arizona GT 11/12 is perfect. I can’t think of a better single con to tell you, I adored it from the moment I opened the box. We found it tough to put away just like every other tent out there because it’s hard to push out air pockets but I’m pretty sure that’s just our camping inexperience showing and I know we’ll get used to it!
For first timer, a tent this easy to put together and this awesome when expanded is worth buying. It’s sturdy, weather proof, comfortable, spacious, and we think, absolutely essential to the camping experience. I give it a straight up 10 out of 10.

Wow, there’s so much room inside! It’s big, so I’m surprised how easy it looks to assemble! This might be the holy grail of tents.

This tent is huge. I realy think my whole family and our 3 dogs could sleep in it comfortably while camping.
I can’t believe how big this tent is. It’s more like glamping. I haven’t gone camping in awhile but with this tent it looks really comfortable.
My kids have been asking me to go camping. I love how spacious this tent is. I will certainly be considering this now that it is getting a little cooler outside here in Florida.

My hubby and I have never been camping together! I would to camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains and try one of these tents.
We used to go camping all the time. Now I want to start taking the Grandkids camping. I know they will love it. This tent is amazing, the room is great! I looked at the site and can’t believe the price. We paid double for that when we purchased one 10 years ago. It needs to be replaced and I think thanks to you I have found the one we need.
