Decorating a new home is such an adventure. The pictures in our home’s listing were of completely bare rooms so there was a lot left to the imagination. I brought some decor from my old house but a lot of it, especially the holiday decorations, just don’t fit what I imagine for this house. Needless to say, I needed some help with all of my decorating and I’m thrilled with my new discovery, Decocrated! Decocrated is a subscription box full of beautiful home decor and it is truly my most favorite one ever. We even included in our holiday gift guide this year!
Decocrated arrives seasonally, filled with lovely decor, several that are created by their featured local artists for that season. Each box consists of around $200 worth of home decor. Each subscriber receives the same items but everyone displays them differently, which is why I love having the booklet and The Decocrators Facebook group to get ideas! I’m a newbie decorator so I need a hand with decor and ideas. I feel like this service is absolutely perfect for someone like me who is a new decorator and/or just moved into a new home. Or maybe just someone who loves decorating but doesn’t want to keep going out to pick out new things every season. Plus, the surprise of it is so exciting! If I’d had a housewarming party and this was a gift I’d received, it would definitely be my favorite one.
This year’s winter box had a similar color theme in many of the pieces, which I adored, and the items within were so incredibly versatile that I have tons more ideas than what I’ve already done with them. I get makeup subscription boxes, meal deliveries, fitness ones, and so much more but I can honestly say that this is a box that I would look forward to every season and it is absolutely and easily my favorite. The pieces are perfect and I have so much fun trying to decide what to do with them, it’s such a fun challenge. I look around my home right now and I feel proud of how I’ve been able to spruce it up and make it my own. Not only do I recommend Decocrated, I think I insist that anyone who likes decorating give it a try!
