Normally The Quirky Mom herself handles the shoe posts. I mean, growing up, I was taught that shoe collections were for women. For the longest time, I thought that was true. I had a lot of difficulty picking out which color I wanted to go with. They come in three colors, black, a dark blue, and grey. The best part of all three is that they can accommodate virtually any outfit, regardless of the color picked! Not only can they handle the day to day street wear, but they also hold up really well on our hikes! They have become my “go to” boot for all terrain. Let me put it this way. I stepped foot first into a thicket of thorns, and I couldn’t even scratch them. The prickles stood no chance at all of piercing my foot, and the rubber bottomed grip was amazing, even on slick rocks!
So at this point, I’ve already put miles on them. I’ve worn them for long durations. They have handled everything I’ve thrown at them, and then some. And how do my feet feel at the end of the day? My wife and I enjoy hiking together. We started a monthly hiking group (family friendly) -so far mixed turnout but it’s winter. Maybe better turnout in the spring. Good hiking shoes is important, also sunscreen, a hat, and water.
