You know who he is! We all grew up with him and he always uncovered the craziest villains we may have suspected. Scooby-Dooby Doo, the doofy Great Dane, and his sidekick Shaggy have returned to the big screen for another race to save the world! Scoob! is the newest adventure for Scooby-Doo and the gang as they fight against Cerberus, the ghost dog, and learn about Scooby’s true destiny!
First of all, adults greatly appreciate all of the throwbacks within Scoob!. There are tons of characters that you’ll recognize from other legendary cartoons from back in the day. I don’t want to spoil it by mentioning because it will be fun to see which ones you notice! My husband was giddy about it! Haha! There were also some jokes for the grown-ups that we found funny, but definitely left us agreeing that the movie is properly rated as PG.
As for the kids, they found Scoob! to be hilarious! It kept their attention the entire time and any time someone had to leave the room, they made me pause it so they didn’t miss a single second. It had lots of action and moments that everyone could enjoy.
Since Scooby-Doo is such a popular cartoon, it was really easy for us to find themed snacks and treats to go with a Scoob! movie night so I feel like this is absolutely the perfect movie to make into a family night! It was really great to be able to break the monotony of quarantine and throw a fun shindig for the kids. We gave the kids some Scooby snacks (which would be easy to make on your own!) with mason jars of milk, plus fruit snacks, and other treats we could dip into milk. Add dinner with a hot dog and you have an entire evening of laughs where you can all forget the world is crazy!
Scoob! is now available on Digital and will be available on Blu-Ray and DVD on July 21st! The Blu-Ray combo pack includes deleted scenes, bloopers, and even a “how to draw Scooby-Doo”!
