When I first started trying to breastfeed, I didn’t know anything and I made a bunch of mistakes that led to not nursing my oldest. With my second, one of the big things that helped me feel more comfortable was a Boppy pillow. I love my Boppy and for me, it made nursing so much easier in the beginning. Then as my babies got older, I would let them lean on it or sit with it around them. It was easy enough to carry around with me and I’ll be honest, I fell asleep on it myself a few times.
Our Boppy pillow got a lot of use and it was easily able to withstand three babies. I have it sitting in the other room, waiting to either be re-sold on yard sale groups or given to a friend. It could live through at least a couple more babies (and they won’t be mine!!) so I think it was absolutely worth the money. I’ve tried other nursing pillows and even regular pillows but none really lived up to my Boppy.

When I was pregnant with my third daughter, I learned how to make covers myself and this was SO fun for me. I could choose any fabric I liked, whether it was one that matched her nursery or had some of my favorite characters. My ideal fabric is called minky. It’s this fluffy, cozy fabric that I want to wrap myself in and never leave. I bought various designs in minky fabric for making blankets and now the pillow covers. For a period of time, I intended to sell them but I just realized that selling stuff wasn’t for me and around my house has sat this adorably cozy camo print, minky cover. By the time I got pregnant with my son, I was obsessed with light blues and pastel greens, so I created a Boppy cover just for him. This new, never used but made with love camo print nursing pillow cover needs a home and I decided what better way than to give it away on my blog?!
On the topic of babies and all of the cute things that you get when you have one, I also have the sweetest Turnovers bib that is new with tags. If you haven’t seen my previous review and push for their Kickstarter campaign for their new line, then let me tell you a little bit about Turnovers. Turnovers is owned by a fabulous friend of mine and they make reversible baby clothing. Turnovers is good for those who keep Baby’s gender a surprise, showing blue on one side and pink on the other. Turnovers come in various colors, for those of you who just like to change up that sweet little baby’s wardrobe without filling up the closet. The quality is amazing, hands-down better than any other clothes I’ve ever touched. They’re soft but also durable and I’m confident that, like the Boppy, they’d withstand child after child if you’re into hand-me-downs like me! I’m excited to see their new line for older kids that’s coming out soon!!
