Happy July, everyone! I know that it might seem late to begin a bucket list but unfortunately, my daughter only got out of school a week ago! That seems insanely late to me, am I wrong?! When was your child’s last day this year?
Anyway, July and August will be our full months of summer and I’ve compiled a list of things I’d like to do as a family, with hubby, and even alone this summer! Without further ado, I present you my summer bucket list:
Go to the beachWe went to the beach with my grandmother, although I’m sure we’ll go again! I burned to a crisp but the breeze was beautiful.- Picnic by the park
- Swimming in a pool
- Visit the zoo
- See a movie at the drive-in, once with the kids and at least once just the hubs and I
- Watch fireworks
- Make a fresh strawberry lemonade
- Play miniature golf
- Camping in the backyard
- Roast marshmallows and hot dogs on the fire and DON’T FORGET THE S’MORES!
- Draw beautiful art with sidewalk chalk and see how long we can go before it washes away!
- Have a pizza-making party as a family
- Play in the sprinkler
- Go to a water park
- Sit on the beach in the evening with my hubby and just watch the waves crash, probably debating politics and discussing hopes, dreams, and what we’d do if we won the lottery
- Beat my husband in basketball and/or volleyball at least once
- Go to a food truck festival
- Do lots of crafts, at least one including collected seashells!
Do you have a summer bucket list for this year?! Share it with us!
I love this! I really enjoy reading other people’s lists. It gives me great ideas. I would love to take them on a picnic by the park!
