We’ve been a ShopRite-loving family for as long as we can remember. There are so many in our area and they’ve nearly always got the most affordable pricing. Most importantly, their brands are the only ones that we can consistently count on to be just as good or better than the name brands. Our enthusiasm for this amazing company is exactly why we both decided to co-write this post to love on our favorite place.
ShopRite’s healthy food brand, Wholesome Pantry makes delicious foods and ingredients. You know that these days healthy foods are the ones that can really add up in price! Wholesome Pantry gives us this cleaner, better eating while also being a lot easier on the wallet. Their vanilla almond milk is Tiffany’s absolute favorite. The kids love Wholesome Pantry pasta sauces, their waffles, salads, snacks, and our pantry is packed with these flavorful treats. So when ShopRite asked us to share our thoughts on some of their barbecue products, it was easy because we were already marinating tenderloins in Wholesome Pantry Organic Herb & Garlic Marinade.
What about another tasty marinade, the Wholesome Pantry Organic Teriyaki Marinade? How do you use this marinade to make a yummy chicken dinner? Well, that’s pretty easy. Are you ready for this recipe? Place boneless, skinless chicken breasts into a zipper sealed bag, pour in the marinade, and let it sit for a few hours or more. Sometimes, James freezes it with the marinade inside and then when it’s thawing at a later date, it’s marinating too! PURE CONVENIENCE. Throw it on the grill and it’s really that simple.
There are so many other things at ShopRite to help you throw the tastiest BBQ. They have a wide array of fresh cut meats, be it a nice juicy steak, some ribs, or you can go with the usual dogs and burgers. Now if you’re lucky, your ShopRite may have gone through some modifications in the butcher section. Our local store did and now we have an excellent selection of gourmet meats, crafted by hand by the butchers themselves. The only way to help the meat reach it’s peak perfection is to add in some of their condiments, like their Wholesome Pantry Organic Ketchup.
Speaking of burgers and dogs, the meat is but one component. You need to get the rest of it perfect. Make sure you swing by their bakery and pick out some rolls! Seriously, I’m not knocking some of the name brands, but there’s nothing finer than some straight from the oven buns! Trust me, your guests, be they neighbors or family, will love you. Add in some fresh produce pieces, and you have yourselves a masterpiece!
Now I realize, the meats, the breads, and the produce may have seemed like a slight segway, but I wanted to point out that ShopRite has you covered. Wholesome Pantry has their hands in a lot of different things, every step of the way. Their label is everywhere, and it’s something we watch for as we sweep the aisles on our grocery runs. It’s a brand we trust, and ShopRite nails it every time. We love our one stop shop, and we hope you will too.
