The Berenstain Bears are a classic, wholesome family of bears that have been around for decades. I loved them when I was a child and I love sharing them with my children. They still put out such spectacular books and I’m really excited to share the ones we got our hands on this Easter season!

The Berenstain Bears Cookbook was immediately my personal favorite! My kids have just recently become very interested in cooking and baking. This book includes 40 recipes, organized by holiday, that are really easy for kids to manage with minimal adult supervision. Each holiday’s section begins with a Bible verse and short introduction about The Berenstain Bears that relate to that particular holiday.

The Easter section of The Berenstain Bears Cookbook has simple carrot chips and also tasty sweets like the Easter Bunny Shake with mint chocolate chip ice cream. The kids are already drooling over which recipes to make and they loved making the bunny shakes! I hope to see more like this, everything about it is fun, inspiring, and educational!

The Berenstain Bears: The Easter Story is my favorite kids Easter story because the little bears are so much like today’s kids, visiting Sunday school over the holiday while thinking about the things kids do. They’re excited thinking all about Easter candy and they know they’re supposed to be celebrating “Bible stuff” but the teacher encourages them to focus on and understand The Easter Story. The children watch a play to explain it to them. In the end, the children learn that Easter is about so much more than candy. I just feel like this book is such a good way to meet kids where they are, in their own little worlds, and focus on the story of Jesus. It’s got stickers and uses the bears to portray The Easter Story throughout. The back page has engaging lessons and activity ideas for the kids.

In The Berenstain Bears: The Very First Easter, Papa Bear sits the children down to tell them all about Jesus, and the story of Easter. The story itself is simple and very easy to understand, told and illustrated with the bears. I think that it would be such a great choice for church class with the little ones and of course, reading with the kids. It ends with a crossword puzzle just for fun!

The Berenstain Bears: Easter Fun Sticker & Activity Book is perfect for ages 4-8! We’re finding a lot of use for this one now that I’m trying so hard to come up with fun things for them to do in preparation for Easter, especially since we can’t go anywhere. (Now also seems like a good time to mention that Zonderkidz has a lot of free activities available here!) It’s got mazes, coloring pages, math activities, more than 50 reusable stickers, and so much more!
