Good headphones are so hard to come by! There are always at least five pairs in my house but I didn’t have anything I absolutely loved until now. SOL Republic Amps Air Ear Buds 2.0 are wireless ear buds that pack a great sound and are quite portable!
As we prep for our big family vacation, I need headphones that are comfortable and will be able to accompany me on the plane and anywhere else I deem necessary for musical distraction. Big over-the-ear headphones are nice for sound but I’ve never been a huge fan of the way they feel on my giant head so I wanted to find some quality ear buds. SOL Republic Amps Air 2.0 are small ear buds with big sound quality and an extremely nifty carrying case for charging.
What I love about Amps Air Buds 2.0
- The material inside acts like a grip so they don’t fall out.
- Rain and sweat resistant, since I do tend to go for a walk while it’s drizzling a bit!
- Comfortable shape that fits well in my ear.
- If I’ve left the range, they slowly fade out rather than turn off. (The sudden turning off and on when out of range with other ear buds hurts my ears! Fading is a really practical way to do it and is much gentler on my ears!)
- Battery charger case doubles as a portable phone charger
- Battery case allows you to fully charge the ear buds 15 times before recharging it
I’ve received phone calls on the Amps Air Buds 2.0 and everything sounds good to me and the person I’m talking to so I’d say they work well for calls, although this isn’t a primary use for me. You can actually control answering, hanging up, and music play with a button on the actual ear buds. The ease of use is pretty spectacular with these!
The fact that the Amps Air Buds 2.0 are small makes it really convenient to bring them for travel and even the charging case is pretty small. I just leave them in their case in my pocket all the time, just in case I need to shut out the world for any reason. You can tell it’s not just a case though because it’s got a little weight to it. The ear buds magnetize into place when you charge them. The case itself can charge them for up to 45 hours before you need to charge it. I’m not sure how long it charges the phone for because I haven’t needed that feature yet but I plan to utilize it when we’re on vacation! The ear buds last for about three hours after a charge and I have no idea how that stands up to other ear buds but it’s been perfect for me and I feel like they recharge really quickly.
SOL Republic as a brand is fantastic so I honestly already knew I could trust these before I got them. I have several other products of theirs and people are always asking me where they’re from. The sound is always good and I’ve had some of these products for years and it still works as beautifully as the day I got it! I absolutely 100% stand behind my recommendation for SOL Republic products and the Amps Air 2.0.
