We’ve talked in the past about creating a Christ-centered Easter basket. We still do things like candy and Easter egg hunts in our family, but I like to make sure that we spend more time focusing on the resurrection of Jesus. The Beginner’s Bible 365 Devotions for Kids is a favorite of mine because I love devotionals. Sometimes, even as adults, we can forget to focus on Jesus daily and I feel like devotions really help to get us to cut out time each day to remember. We like to read our 365 Devotions for Kids, then discuss and pray together. I truly believe that all kids should have a devotional and as my kids get older, they are in the habit of reading theirs all on their own. It’s quite a lovely habit to have!
