I received the March/April box for Mom & Baby, with a bit of an Easter and Spring theme to it! It was a smattering of cool and useful items, some completely new to me and that I’ll be seeking out in the future! It’s kind of like all of that research I do on what are the best products, showing up to my door for me to test out and I was extremely satisfied with them all! My Ecocentric Mom box came with a card that detailed each product and included eco-friendly tips!

Here’s what came in my Mom & Baby box for March/April:

Pure by She She Baby Wash and Shampoo
This ultra gentle baby wash made with 100% natural and organic ingredients smells completely amazing. I am particular about washing Little Man especially. I don’t want my babies to be bathed in chemicals so I’m always looking for body cleansing products that are safe, natural, smell great, and can clean my messy kids effectively! Pure by She She absolutely did the trick and again, I love the Sweet Orange scent so much! An 8 oz bottle of Pure by She She Baby Wash and Shampoo can be purchased for $11.95.

eco egg Easter Eggs
Regular plastic Easter eggs tend to feel so flimsy and they crack easily but not these ones! Eco eggs are made in America, from plants and 100% renewable content. They’re non-toxic and you can compost them after use! I could tell just from touching them that these were not your everyday boring Easter eggs and I love that they’re good for the environment! You can buy a 12-count box of eco eggs for $5.

Camilia Teething Relief
Camilia is a natural teething pain remedy that does not contain benzocaine, flavoring, preservatives, dyes, sugar, or artificial sweetener. My girls only ever had teething pain with their two year molars but my little dude has had it several times recently. When he was drooling all over and acting not himself recently, a lightbulb went on over my head and I remembered that we had the Camilia single-use liquid doses! Unlike how he reacts for medicine, he took the Camilia without reacting badly at all so it must not have a bad taste! The best part is that it worked. In no time, he was acting fine and clearly relieved from the pain. I will definitely recommend it to friends in search of teething relief in the future! Camilia Teething Relief is $12.99 for a box containing 30 doses.

Bright Baby Touch and Feel Easter Book
My son absolutely adored this book! All of the kids did but I designated it the little guy’s book right off the bat. The pages were thick (so he can’t rip them!) and bright, with adorable pictures. Texture books are actually my favorite too, with pop-up books being a close second. The little fella really loved touching the different textures on each page! This Easter board book is available for $4.95.

Baby Bits Wipes Solution
Baby Bits are 100% vegetarian cubes, handmade in the USA, for making a natural solution for wipes. My oldest has very sensitive skin and lately, regular wipes have been irritating my son’s skin too. Wipes aren’t just for cleaning diapered booties, they’re for wiping down after the kids try to eat pasta with their hands or I even use them for runny noses sometimes, so it’s important to use something that’s safe on their skin and yours! You can purchase a box of 40 cubes of Baby Bits Wipes Solution for $11.

Goddess Garden Organics Sunscreen
Goddess Garden’s Organics Sunscreen is safe, chemical-free, and effective! I’m so against slathering your body with unnecessary chemicals but it’s obviously not good to be unprotected under the sun so I get excited when I hear about effective sunscreen! With the heat finally creeping in in my area, I really needed a good sunscreen that I could wear under my makeup and really give me good overall coverage! Prices range from $14.99-17.99 for a 3.4 oz bottle.

Bear’s Beauty Vegan Natural Deodorant
Bear’s Beauty Vegan Natural Deodorant is 100% natural and handmade, using essential oils, shea butter, coconut oil, and clays. It’s completely chemical free and yet, extremely effective. I’ve said before that I have issues with my armpits getting stinky. I can get straight out of the shower fresh and clean with smelly pits, it’s horrible and embarrassing. Bear’s Beauty passes my pit test easily. It smells completely fantastic and definitely wards off any potential body odor. I love the scent of Bear’s Beauty so much more than any deodorant I’ve ever tried and I think it’s because it’s natural, not some chemical-engineered and artificial scent. Two thumbs way up on this one! You can purchase a .75 oz tube of Bear’s Beauty Vegan Natural Deodorant for $6.00.

Country Choice Organic Steel Cut Oatmeal
Country Choice Organic produces USDA-certified organic oatmeal. They’re 160-170 calorie multigrain blends of oats, rye, barley and wheat. I’m a big oatmeal lover but I’m particular about my flavors. The Maple Spice with Raisins flavor that I received was actually really delicious and I wasn’t sure about raisins in my oatmeal but they actually made for a tasty and complementary addition! Country Choice Organic Steel Cut Oatmeal can be bought at $4.29 for an 8-count box of single serving packets.

Brigit True Organics Peppermint Lip Balm
Brigit True Organics offers organic, hypoallergenic body care for sensitive skin. Their products are gluten-free, soy-free, and don’t contain any nut oils. The Peppermint Lip Balm contains soothing healing herbs for long-lasting protection of sensitive, dry, and chapped lips. I wore it and also let my kids apply it, especially my daughter with her sensitive skin and severely chapped lips. It really does work and it doesn’t give this greasy, yucky feeling but more importantly, it really does heal! Between my lip biting and my daughter’s chapping, we really need Brigit True Organics Peppermint Lip Balm! A .15oz tube costs $4 to purchase.

EcoTrek Fitness Whole Food Bars
EcoTrek Fitness Whole Food Bars are vegan and dairy-free, made with nutrient-dense ingredients without refined sugars or artificial sweeteners. I saved this one for last because it was my absolute favorite and I was completely blown away. Even as a kid, I liked the idea of fitness bars but I could never find one with a taste I enjoyed. I’m not sure why they all had to taste like tar or artificial strawberry flavoring but it always just made me think that health and fitness was supposed to be that way. Naturally, because of this experience, I initially cringed when I saw “fitness bar”. I opened it up and took a bite and boy, am I glad that I did!! These bars taste phenomenal. I had the Dark Raspberry Chocolate bar and I would seriously choose this over the typical chocolate bars any day. I’m not kidding! I immediately went to their website to see what other flavors I could get (Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter and Dark Chocolate Toasted Coconut!). I highly highly recommend EcoTrek Fitness Whole Food Bars and I’m going to be getting more. Get a box of 6 bars for $14 and you won’t be sorry you did!

All in all, I thought that this Ecocentric Mom box was obviously put together by people with similar interests to my own, as if all of the “What should I use for…” posts on social media came to life! I really enjoyed it and it opened my eyes to some really great products!

  1. Oooh..I had never heard of this box before. It seems really neat though. I love things that are eco-friendly and all natural. I think it might be a little pricey for my current budget, though. But thanks for sharing your experience. I like learning about new subscription boxes.

  2. I love subscription boxes, and I appreciate that this box is all natural. I have not quite made the transition to healthy eating yet. Maybe a box every month would help. 🙂

  3. Okay this is so cool!!!!! I not only want this for myself, I want it for my sister-in-law, too!!! She and My brother just had their first baby and I bet they would love to use some of these for little Nataleigh!

  4. I have never had a subscription to any of the box offers. It looks like the products would be nice.
